The Chamber Music Concert season of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) comes to a close with a contemporary classical piece titled “Colors for Trombone” by the Belgian composer Bert Appermont. Colors for Trombone is a concerto originally written for solo trombone and concert band, in four movements, each based on a color (Yellow, Red, Blue, and Green) characterizes a typical musical quality.
This virtuoso piece for trombone will be performed by PPO trombonist Ricson Poonin, with Mary Anne Espina on the piano.
