FOLK
ARTS THEATER
More Commonly known as the Folk Arts Theater, this covered proscenium ampitheater is where popular concerts are usually staged. It has a seating capacity of 8,458 with ten sections. The theater takes its name form Fancisco Baltazar A.k.a. francisco Balagtas, revered as one of the country's greatest poets. "Florante at Laura" is one of his best known and most beloved works and his poetry "Balagtasismo" has shaped generations of Filipino poets. The popular debate in verse - "balagtasan" is also named after him.
