CINEMA REHIYON 2010 AT THE CCP
From the mountain ranges of the Cordilleras and the vast plains of Central Luzon, through the glittering sands that sprawl through Viasyas, til the farthest corners of majestic Mindanao - see a side of Philippine independent cinema that you've never seen before in Cinema Rehiyon 2010 on Feb. 17-20, 2010 at the CCP Tanghalang Manuel Conde (Dream Theater).
CINEMA REHIYON 2010 is a project of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, Crossing Negros Cultural Foundation, Inc. and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It features films and filmmakers from the various regions across the country, highlighting the film communities and movements in Bacolod, Baguio, Bohol, Calabarzon, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Naga, Pampanga, Pangasinan and Samar.
To be shown during the film festival are over 70 short and full-length films, most of which are screening in Metro Manila for the first time. The films are stories about home, by people who live in them, spoken in their native tongue.
