BATANG-SINING
A five-day workshop for children ages 6-13, that involves poetry-writing, storytelling, puppetry, theatrical presentation, art-making and book-making. It is aimed at developing skills in creative expression to enable children to communicate artistically and discover their creativity and keep themselves from vices. Artists who are experts in children’s education will serve as resource persons. They will design module utilizing local languages and folklore.
TANGHAL-TULA
A five-day workshop in the writing and performance of poetry, both narrative and lyric. Resource persons will encourage use of local folklore as material. It culminates in a showcase performance. Participants will be members of the community.
